The Great Taste Trail is on the door step of The Boot so is the perfect place to stay. There’s easy access to lots of options for exploring this region.
Whether you want to do a little or a lot you are ideally placed when staying at The Boot.
Turn left hand out the gate and you will be heading to the vibrant village of Mapua where you can have lunch, coffee, shop up a storm or just sit at the wharf and take it all in. You can also catch the ferry across to Rabbit Island and explore further.
Take a right out the gate and head toward the little village of Tasman. Here you can visit artists, wineries, enjoy a delicious real fruit ice cream or pick up a bag of local fruit. It is only a short ride to Tasman but you can carry on to Kina Beach or along the Great Taste Trail all the way to Motueka or even to Kaiteriteri if you’re keen. You are spoilt for choice on how much or little you want to do.
Whatever you do, you are guaranteed a great day out that will recharge, inspire and energise you.

Check in time is from 2pm and you have a late check out time of midday. We try to be as flexible as possible so do let us know if your travel plans require alternative check-in or check-out times.

Cancellations
Due to our intimate size, any cancellation affects us significantly. In the event of any un-replaceable booking the following charges apply:
Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date: 50% of total cost.
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% of total cost.
We realise that travel plans can be unavoidably altered and we will be as understanding as possible. If we are able to rebook The Boot for the dates that you had requested we will happily reimburse you.
